Our Services
Tackling the health gap
We provide comprehensive and culturally appropriate medical, health and wellbeing services to students and their families. Our culturally safe, trauma informed case-management framework integrates into all social contexts including our schools, homes and workplaces.
Supporting Djarragun College Students
Ngak Min Health improves health care access for Djarragun College students and their families by reducing the need for out-of school-hours travel, builds the capacity of students to develop health behaviour through explicit teaching and health education sessions, improves prevention and early intervention through systematic screening, health assessments and immunisation, improves access to wellbeing and mental health services with a tiered support and case management framework, and takes into account the students' context, trauma, and culture while leveraging current research to provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive healthcare services.
We recognise the traditional owners of Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands and pay our respects to our elders, past and present.
